PROVEN TECHNOLOGY

A machine that likes nothing better than to be pushed to its limit while axle deep in mud, it delivers smooth and clean power, low maintenance and is highly reliable while benefiting from well-proven EFI technology. It’s our lean, mean, no premix needed, woods loving machine.

BODYWORK

GASGAS Enduro bikes are built to look good and perform to the very highest levels, which is why all of our bodywork ensures complete harmony between rider and bike, providing the perfect ergonomics and contact points for maximum freedom of movement. The modern design and red plastics reflect our vibrant, Spanish personality while our straightforward graphics proudly say GASGAS! An ergonomically designed flat seat profile, combined with a high grip seat cover, deliver superior comfort and control in all conditions.

FRAME

All GASGAS enduro frames are built using lightweight, laser-cut chromium molybdenum steel, which is robot welded for complete accuracy and strength! incorporating specifically engineered flex into all 2-stroke and 4-stroke frames we ensure riders have complete confidence no matter how gnarly the terrain. Together with proven geometry, our frames ensure playful handling and the very best stability. We then finish them with durable, red powder coating.

MOTOR

For decades the 250cc 2-stroke has been the choice of enduro riders and racers across the world, offering the best combination of unsurpassed power and lightweight construction. The 6-speed EC 250 delivers incredible motor performance, simplicity and low maintenance costs thanks to an advanced electronic fuel injection system, an enduro specific transmission and a twin-valve controlled power valve system. As well as reducing fuel usage and emissions our 250cc woods racer consistently delivers a clean, smooth power delivery.

BRAKTEC BRAKES

Providing superior stopping power while giving riders control and confidence, we fit Braktec braking systems to all of our enduro bikes. With a smooth, sensitive action the front brake features an 11mm piston within the master cylinder and 2x25mm pistons in the caliper, together with a waved 260mm front disc. The rear brake has a 12.7mm master cylinder piston and a 1x25mm piston caliper and uses a 220mm rear brake disc. Keeping weight to a minimum and offering complete confidence Braktec brakes ensure serious stopping power!

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS)

Like having a team of scientists and data analysts working for you! Constantly measuring, calculating, optimizing and adjusting, our modern Engine Management System (EMS) makes riding and racing the EC 300 so, so straightforward. It also removes the need for fiddly, time consuming jetting changes. With an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) updated with the latest digital mappings for enhanced performance and power delivery, it controls the ignition timing and the amount of fuel injected, using sensor data such as intake air pressure, throttle position and coolant temperature.

Cooling

Always Optimal

Maintaining the optimal engine temperature is crucial to ensuring consistent horsepower throughout the ride. The GASGAS EC 250 features newly designed radiators which are mounted 12 mm lower than the predecessors. This lowers the center of gravity and matches the design of the new shrouds perfectly, in order to achieve perfect ergonomics. By using CFD technology (computational fluid dynamics) together with a clever coolant circuit routing, the innovative system ensures the optimum engine temperature for the highest performance, no matter what the conditions. Above all, a reworked delta distributor, integrated into the frame triangle, features a 4 mm larger center tube, increasing the cross section by 57%, making the coolant flow from the cylinder head to the radiators more efficient. The radiators also feature special protectors that don't only serve as protection from flying rocks and debris but also as a brace that disperses energy around the radiators in the event of an impact.

Exhaust

Shaped for Performance

When it comes to improved power delivery and performance, the new exhaust plays a key role and packs a punch that is hard to beat. The 250 cc and 300 cc models feature new HD exhaust pipes (heavy-duty) made by using an innovative 3D stamping process which produces a ripped surface finish. This makes the pipe much stronger, with better resistance against rocks, while also helping to reduce noise drastically. The silencer features a new shape and end cap with reworked internal designs individually developed for each model. The plastic silencer holder is now replaced with lightweight, welded mounting brackets. In addition, the exhaust's new shape provides slimmer ergonomics and more ground clearance, while a new perforated inner silencer tube works with lighter damping wool for more efficient and more durable noise reduction. This adds up to a weight reduction of approximately 200 grams.

Optimal Control

All EC models feature new high-tech, lightweight chromoly steel frames. This includes hydro-formed elements produced by state-of-the-art robot welding. They retain their race-proven geometries, but by re-designing certain areas, the stiffness has been optimized, resulting in better feedback for the rider, playful handling and improved stability. The laterally attached engine head stays (the connection between cylinder, head and frame) are now made of aluminum, reducing vibration and further contributing to precise cornering. The bikes also feature newly designed lateral frame guards with a structured surface, improving grip, while also serving as a heat protector against the muffler on the right side. On the KTM 300 EXC frame, the engine is lowered by 1° around the swing arm pivot improving front wheel traction significantly. The subframe is made of extra-light and stable aluminum profiles, weighing less than 900g and is 40 mm longer than before, providing better rear fender stability.

Simple & Effective

All models in the EC range are fitted with newly designed lightweight polyethylene tanks improving the ergonomics. The ¼-turn bayonet filler cap makes for quick and easy closure. Manufactured using see-through plastic, you will always be able to see how much fuel remains at a glance. It is fitted with an integrated fuel pump system and a fuel level sensor. Additionally, the fuel line features a 90° connector to the tank for better protection against damage.
