An improved 85 cc 2-stroke engine, housed inside a brand-new chromium molybdenum steel frame, delivers exceptional power and torque. Adjustable WP suspension, together with a new single-piece swingarm, offers exceptional agility and confidence-inspiring control. Refined, ergonomic bodywork is finished with striking new graphics to create a bold, fresh look for 2026.
The 2025 Husqvarna TC 85 packs fresh firepower and gives an updated engine to starting gate. Weighing 120 grams less than the previous generation, the updated engine produces higher performance and optimised integration with the chassis updates. This means more punch in the low and mid-RPM range, more torque, and improved reliability.
Clicking into gear is made even smoother for 2026, with an update to the shift drum. Thanks to the new coating finish, shifting up and down the 'box is smoother, more reliable, and rock-solid even after many hours of use.
The 2025 Husqvarna TC 85 boasts a completely new high-strength chromium molybdenum steel frame design, taken over the full-sized TC range. Together with forged connecting parts, carefully calculated parameters of longitudinal flex and torsional rigidity, and incorporated sheet metal parts allow tailor-made stiffness. The new frame layout features a typical MX design without any cross tube behind the steering head. The rear shock mount is separated from the main upper frame tube like our full-size models, with frame protectors as standard.
Now pay attention; this is a mouthful - 1-piece polyamide glass-fiber-reinforced aluminum. That's what the subframe is constructed from, for good reason. Not only does this reduce the weight of the whole construction, but it also features specifically engineered rigidity, delivering outstanding handling and rider feedback. It also makes for the perfect spot for integrated electronics, seat comfort, and hour meter mounting positions.
